In 2013 I made a video for Families for Freedom, a New York-based multi-ethnic human rights organization by and for families facing and fighting deportation.

I did everything by myself, and learned a lot, including the lesson that recording quality audio is not as easy as I’d thought.

Now, in 2017, their mission just became even more important, and I’m compelled to post this video that I thought I’d never share because the audio is spotty but the message is not.

Click to donate to Families for Freedom, and if you’re forcing yourself to stumble through new territory on a project, just remember the only way is through.
